Our work spans the full product lifecycle, from early architecture and prototyping through validation, production, and field deployment. This role combines people leadership, engineering delivery, technical judgement, and client-facing responsibility.
You will be accountable for building an effective engineering organisation, developing engineers and technical leads, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to a high technical standard. Core Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop engineers and technical leads. Set clear goals, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
Drive hiring, onboarding, career development, and performance reviews. Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence. Own delivery across multiple engineering projects. Define priorities, milestones, resources, and escalation paths. Identify technical and delivery risks early.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. Technical Leadership Support architecture discussions, design reviews, and major technical decisions. Improve engineering processes, documentation, testing, and quality. Communicate project status, risks, and resource needs clearly.
Manage expectations around scope, timelines, and technical constraints. Required Experience & Skills Must‑Haves 6+ years of engineering experience. 3+ years of engineering‑management or people‑leadership experience. Track record of delivering production‑grade products.
Strong understanding of electronics development, testing, debugging, and production. Experience hiring, coaching, and managing engineer performance. Strong project planning, prioritisation, and risk‑management skills. Client‑facing or stakeholder‑management experience. Professional working proficiency in English.
Ability to work primarily on‑site in Berlin. Experience in consulting or client‑facing product development. Familiarity with Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, Jira, MATLAB, or Python.
