Duties and responsibilities

Core Technology Leadership and Research

• Lead the mechanical design and integrated development of motors (stators, rotors, end covers, bearings and other core components);

• Formulate motor mechanical design specifications, technical standards and development processes；

• Take the lead in solving complex mechanical engineering problems (such as vibration and noise, structural strength, assembly accuracy, sealing reliability, etc.) in the process of motor R&D, production and application.

Technological Innovation and Cutting-Edge Technology Implementation

• Track the global technical development trends, industry standards and competitor dynamics in the motor mechanical field (motor structure, lightweight materials, precision manufacturing, assembly technology, etc.);

• Take the lead in carrying out pre-research on cutting-edge technologies (such as new motor structures, lightweight design, high-efficiency assembly schemes, etc.);

• Promote the transformation of technological innovation achievements into product applications, form core technology patents and technical barriers, and enhance the company's technical competitiveness.

Technical System and Capability Development

• Take the lead in building the company's motor mechanical technology system;

• Formulate technical development plans, improve technical documents such as motor mechanical design manuals, fault case databases and test standards, and promote the standardization of technology;

• Be responsible for team technical training, guidance and talent training, improve the team's overall motor mechanical design, technical research and engineering practice capabilities, and build a professional and efficient technical team.

Requirements

Education/Experience

• Master\'s degree or above, major in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Power Machinery and Engineering and other related majors, PhD or 5+ years of experience at leading OEM or Tier-1/2 supplier preferred;

• Experience in industry-leading product development and mass production is preferred;

• Have successful experience in electric motor development, and those who develop products to achieve mass production status are preferred.

Knowledge

• Proficient in the mechanical design principles, structural optimization methods and manufacturing processes of motors (stators, rotors, end covers, bearings, etc.), proficient in core technologies such as motor structural strength, vibration and noise control, sealing design, and assembly accuracy control, and familiar with the selection and application of lightweight materials (aluminum alloy, composite materials, etc.);

• Familiar with the manufacturing processes of core motor mechanical components (such as machining, die casting, injection molding, welding, etc.), have good cost awareness and design for manufacturability capabilities, and be able to reduce motor product costs and improve production efficiency through design optimization;

• Familiar with relevant industry standards for motor mechanics (such as automotive industry motor mechanical design standards, motor structure design standards, etc.), have rich experience in motor product testing and verification, able to formulate test plans, analyze test data and promote closed-loop of test problems; those familiar with quality tools such as DFMEA and PFMEA are preferred.
