Thus, we enable new robotic applications in places such as airports, supermarkets, warehouses and train stations. /p pWe’re looking for a passionate Senior Embedded Platform Engineer to join our Embedded Platform team and help build the next generation of multi‑camera and high‑performance compute products.

Additionally, collaborate with our EMS partners to ensure smooth production of our products. /li liValidate your designs through extensive testing of thermal, vibration, humidity, ESD, EMC, and electrical fault conditions. /li liCreate test strategies and requirements for testing PCBAs larger assemblies in production. /li /ul h3Your background /h3 ul liAcquired Electrical Engineering skills through a combination of a Masters degree in (Electrical) Engineering, work experience, or relevant projects. /li liExperienced with Altium, KiCAD, Autodesk Fusion/EAGLE or similar CAD programs for schematic capture, PCB design maintaining component libraries. /li liCapable of simulating electric circuits in spice tools like LTSpice or similar. /li liProficient with standard electronic lab tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, soldering irons, etc. /li liKnowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: C, C++, Python. /li liBasic understanding of the regulatory compliance process with industry standards for safety, EMI/EMC, and environmental regulations. /li liResponsible and detail‑oriented team player who never wants to stop learning with a can‑do mindset with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to success. /li /ul h3Our offer /h3 ul liA unique opportunity to join a young and agile company which is now part of ABB. /li liMultiple opportunities to develop your professional career and grow with the company. /li liA competitive compensation package. /li liA modern office in the center of Zurich. /li liAn ambitious, supportive and international team that is on a mission to change the world of robotics. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr As a global market leader, we’ll give you what you need to make it happen.

In this role, you’ll design, optimise, and scale systems that push the limits of real‑time processing and edge intelligence. You’ll be the go‑to expert for electronics, owning our hardware designs and shaping the processes that take ideas from concept to production.

Working closely with EMS partners, you’ll ensure exceptional product quality at scale, while collaborating with skilled design partners to bring innovative, cutting‑edge systems to life. Along the way, you’ll create smart software and hardware tools to streamline manufacturing and dive deep into challenging, in‑depth firmware development.

Oversee prototype fabrication, including performing bring‑up, debugging, and rework. /li liMaintain the portfolio of Sevensense products and handle change requests and component end‑of‑life situations.
