In this role, you will take end-to-end technical ownership of our high-complexity Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs), directly impacting the reliability and capability of our autonomous mobile robots (ANYmal).

By developing highly sophisticated, reliable, and optimized electronics, you enable our robots to operate autonomously where humans cannot. /p h3Your Impact /h3 ul liTake full technical ownership and product care of 1‑2 key high-complexity PCBAs (e.g., our complex communication switches or Battery Management Systems) /li liDrive the PCBA development process from initial architecture and schematics through layout, prototyping, debugging, and production handover /li liStrategically review and simplify our current PCBA portfolio across ANYmal product lines to optimize system architecture /li liEstablish rigorous test specifications and verification protocols to ensure flawless execution during productizationCollaborate closely with systems engineers and cross‑functional teams to integrate electronics seamlessly into the robot /li liChampion high‑quality engineering standards within the EE

team, bringing strong industrial experience to the table /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 ul liDegree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field with at least 7 years of hands‑on experience developing electronics boards for industrial, aerospace, or military applications /li liExpert‑level proficiency in industry‑standard ECAD software (e.g., KiCad, Altium) and simulation tools like SPICE /li liProven track record of layouting your own complex designs with strict creepage, clearance, and isolation constraints for safety‑critical applications /li liExtensive experience designing for harsh environments, including a strong background in meeting EMI/EMC compliance and functional safety standards /li liDeep expertise in debugging, verification, and defining testing specifications for manufacturing production /li liStrong proficiency in at least two of the following areas: Battery
