Job Summary Thoratec Switzerland GmbH, part of Abbott Laboratories, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for its Manufacturing Engineering – Equipment Engineering team located in Zurich. Benefits and Compensation The base pay for this position is not specified; compensation may vary based on location. Design new Electrical Test Equipment.
Conduct Equipment/Non-product Software and Test Method validation activities. Take ownership for equipment availability and repair. Support the whole equipment lifecycle. Support equipment related corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
Qualifications Electrical Engineering background with 3+ years of experience as an electrical engineer. Good knowledge of electrical circuit design. Experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment. Software knowledge – at least C# and Python; experience with OpenHTF is a plus. Experience with debugging software.
Experience with EIQ/EOQ & NPS validation. Fluent in English (written and spoken); German knowledge is an asset. Job Details Job family: Manufacturing. Division: HF Heart Failure.
