Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust distribution strategies to ensure the efficient and compliant delivery of medical equipment and supplies.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels across various distribution points, ensuring product availability and minimizing holding costs.
• Oversee transportation and logistics operations, including carrier selection, route optimization, and delivery tracking.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a remote team of distribution specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols (e.g., GDP).
• Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies for enhanced operational efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to distribution efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction, driving continuous improvement.
• Manage operational budgets for the distribution function and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, procurement, and customer support to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS) are a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in distribution and logistics management, with a strong focus on the healthcare or medical device industry.
• Proven experience in managing remote teams and operations.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare supply chain best practices, regulatory compliance (e.g., Good Distribution Practices), and quality management systems.
• Expertise in inventory management, warehousing, and transportation optimization.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in WMS and other relevant supply chain software.
