Your mission Join our Platform Engineering team and help shape the processes and tools that power the operation of complex e‑commerce environments in the Azure Cloud.

Designing, implementing, and further developing a monitoring system for technical components as well as business processes in a DevOps environment Supporting the operation of various web applications and Java-based applications Continuously maintaining and improving the monitoring environment: Analyzing recurring alerts Identifying optimal thresholds Aggregating data into dashboards Modeling dependencies and deriving ideal alerting strategies, as well as automating recurring processes in collaboration with customers and our operations team Improving the Intershop platform product and related toolchains in cooperation with a platform engineering team — for and together with other teams Communicating with internal customers and partners to enhance the monitoring strategy Your profile You have good to very good knowledge of the Linux operating system and Kubernetes.

Through your work, you will support our customers’ operations on our global platform. Strong knowledge of IaaS infrastructure services and solid analytical skills are among your strengths. You can demonstrate hands‑on experience with cloud observability platforms such as New Relic, Datadog, or similar services.

You are familiar with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, and GitHub Actions. You have experience working with the distributed version control system Git. Good written and spoken English skills complete your profile.

If you additionally bring experience with operating Java applications and/or configuration management and infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform) OpenTelemetry and Jaeger tracing scripting languages What we offer...
