Project Setup Project: Public Sector – Modern IAM & Platform Environment Start: Immediate Workload: Full-time, 5 days/week Location: 100% remote within Germany, with occasional on-site appointments possible Language: Fluent German (minimum C1 level) Monthly salary: 5600 - 7100 EUR/gross Important Requirements: Residence in Germany is mandatory.

Your Responsibilities Build, operate, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines Deploy, automate, and operate applications on OpenShift Integrate and operate modern Identity & Access Management (IAM) components (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML) Analyze and resolve incidents in complex platform environments Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools Monitor systems, manage logging, and optimize performance Create and maintain technical documentation according to established standards Collaborate closely with architecture, development, and security teams Requirements 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Platform Engineer in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins) and container technologies Experience with IAM technologies (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML) Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) Experience operating containerized applications Structured, reliable, and independent working style Fluent German is mandatory Nice to Have Project experience in the public sector Experience with IBM Verify Access, IGI, or Directory Services Experience with automated, highly available platform environments About Client, they offer: 30 vacation days per year Flexible working hours and home office options Active career planning, including continuous training and professional development A wide range of benefits, such as: Bike leasing programs Membership in Urban Sports Club Lieferando meal credits Streaming packages and more Individual compensation benefits, including: Childcare subsidies Mobility benefits (Germany Ticket) Meal allowances Attractive employer contributions to company pension plans Social events (both in-person and online) Recruitment process: CV Screening: Applications are reviewed within 24 hours.

Formal Interviews: On-site discussions with the hiring manager or project team, with feedback provided within 1-2 weeks. A current police clearance certificate must be provided before employment begins. This is a mandatory requirement from the client (a public authority).

Willingness to successfully complete a security clearance process under Section 9a BSG (SÜ2). The process will be initiated after contract signing. Pre-Screening Interview: A brief Q/A session ( Automated or with a Recruiter ) designed to learn more about your experience related to the required job position.
