For our location in Darmstadt, Germany, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer* for Natural for z/OS.

If you are passionate about developing systems software, are familiar with the depths of the z/OS operating system and have several years of experience with the IBM Assembler and Java programming languages, this role would be the opportunity for you.
Essential Functions Usage of advanced skills in IBM Assembler programming (on z/OS) and good skills in Java (z/OS) programming to develop, test, and maintain critical software applications. Investigate and resolve software defects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and a robust software environment.
Analyze and optimize existing product code to improve performance, efficiency and reliability. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all software development activities, including design specifications, code documentation, and testing procedures. Working in a software development process using lean and agile principles.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a Senior Software Developer with expertise in z/OS Assembler programming. In-depth knowledge of mainframe architecture, software development life cycle, and system integration.
Advance experience with Db2 – both programing and administration. Good knowledge of Java on z/OS, including experience with JDBC, JNI and JZOS APIs. Good knowledge of JCL. Adabas/Natural experience would complete your profile. Passion for elegant, testable and maintainable code and openness to new technologies and methods.
