Partner with clinical leadership to understand data requirements and translate business and research needs into actionable data solutions. Translate data requirements into SQL queries and present data in formats that support effective analysis and decision‑making by leadership and stakeholders.
Create formal written documentation for dataset construction processes, including definitions and specifications for key data elements. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure data reliability, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
Manage and enforce applicable data access restrictions, access controls, and data warehouse security policies to ensure compliance with IRB and hospital requirements. Develop and maintain data marts and related data structures to support research, reporting, and operational projects across the Health System.
Maintain data logs and audit documentation while collaborating with research leadership to improve administrative and scientific reporting processes and identify innovative uses of clinical data to advance organizational initiatives.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience planning and implementing solutions in healthcare, technology, financial systems, or clinical systems environments, including conducting research using administrative datasets and SQL programming.
