Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assume day-to-day delivery responsibility for projects and take on tasks with minimal supervision Strengthen service delivery capability and promote knowledge sharing and innovation Prepare budget estimates, cost plans, client reports, and provide risk and value management Undertake contract administration including valuations, forecasts, cost reports, and project meetings Prepare bills of quantities, schedules of rates, and other methods of work evaluation Deliver all work outputs accurately, on time, and to a high-quality standard Manage delivery through proactive involvement and performance management of personnel Ensure service delivery is in accordance with Practice policies, particularly Health & Safety and Quality Assurance Comply with client corporate governance procedures where applicable Support bid and tender preparation, business development, and client relationship development Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development and continuous improvement Administer change control processes and provide advice on procurement and contracts Prepare and evaluate tenders, contractor selection, and contract documentation Support strategic initiatives at service and sector level Assist in leadership, resolving conflicts, and mentoring and coaching team members Knowledge & Skills Required The ability to: Deliver results in a client-facing role and confidently respond to client requests, escalating when required Provide innovative solutions and show resilience in complex challenges Support stakeholder management and deal diplomatically with a wide range of stakeholders Demonstrate flexibility, integrity, and strong leadership skills Lead, motivate, and manage teams including the supply chain Manage conflicting priorities, organise workloads, and work in a high-pressure environment Preferred Education and Experience Ideally degree qualified in construction, cost management, engineering, quantity surveying, or RICS-accredited discipline MRICS or equivalent qualification or experience 5+ years’ experience Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters Good experience with JCT and NEC contracts Strong pre- and post-contract cost management skills Strong communication, IT, analytical, and interpersonal skills Experience managing people and delivering multiple or complex projects Energetic, motivated, innovative, and able to adapt to change Ability to think clearly, make reasoned decisions, and explain logic Cumming Group is committed to creating a diverse workplace and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
