Duties & Responsibilities Design cost-effective solutions that meet customer needs and prepare functional and detailed designs of approved solutions. Design system architecture and industrial communication networks for software implementations (Ethernet, fibre, Profinet, etc.).
Design, develop, test, and implement SCADA and/or HMI applications to client specifications. Develop simulation applications for testing and training purposes. Test solutions to ensure they are fully functional before delivery. Provide post-project system support, callouts, and support under Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Provide training and assistance to clients so they can operate the system within design constraints. Experience & Qualifications Degree, Technical Diploma, or NQF equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering. 5+ years of relevant industrial automation experience.
Practical experience in control system design, development, FAT testing, and commissioning. Intermediate to advanced PLC programming, with hands-on experience in at least two of: Siemens, Schneider, Allen Bradley, Omron, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi.
Intermediate to advanced SCADA development, with hands-on experience in at least two of: Wonderware, Siemens, Schneide
