We wish to expand our team with talented and motivated people. Your mission At ImFusion, we solve computer vision problems in endoscopic imaging, bringing cutting-edge research directly to the operating room for real-world clinical impact.

We are looking for experienced researchers with strong backgrounds in 3D computer vision and deep learning, who enjoy solving challenging real-world problems and turning state-of-the-art research into clinical products.

Typical topics include 3D reconstruction Monocular depth estimation SLAM, visual localization and tracking Surface registration Tissue tracking and segmentation 6D pose estimation Real-time vision systems While this position is associated with our Munich office, we support remote and hybrid work arrangements.

Candidates may be based in Germany or elsewhere within the EU, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Your profile Must-have PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics or a related field Strong expertise in 3D computer vision and deep learning Experience in any above mentioned topics is highly relevant Experience developing real-time ML and computer vision systems Excellent Python skills Nice-to-have Medical and/or endoscopic imaging Geometric deep learning Neural reconstruction / rendering Robotics perception Model deployment (TensorRT, ONNX, PyTorch Dynamo, etc.) Strong C++ skills A strong publication record demonstrated through publications at leading venues is highly valued.
