Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all day-to-day catering operations from a remote location, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Manage a dispersed team of catering staff, including event coordinators, chefs, and service personnel, providing clear direction and support.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations (HACCP) across all event sites through remote monitoring and training.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of food, beverages, and necessary equipment.
• Manage event logistics, including staffing schedules, transportation, and venue setup coordination.
• Monitor and control operational costs, including food, labor, and equipment expenses, to achieve financial targets.
• Develop and refine operational procedures and best practices for consistent service delivery.
• Handle client inquiries and feedback, resolving issues promptly and professionally to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
• Conduct remote performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching to operational staff.
• Utilize technology platforms for communication, scheduling, inventory management, and operational reporting.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in catering operations management, with a significant portion in leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale events and complex operational logistics.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage management, inventory control, and cost management.
• Exceptional leadership, team management, and motivational skills, particularly in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using virtual communication tools, project management software, and other relevant technologies for remote operations.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining health, safety, and sanitation standards.
