Your mission Lead the development, verification and integration of the UAV Battery System.

Lead the communication, provide inputs and accept the deliverables of the supplier. Manage requirements and traceability from high levels to the Battery System and Components levels. Develop the Battery System design- and lifecycle-related documentation. Translate the needs of customers and other stakeholders into the Battery System requirements.
Prepare and conduct the design reviews for the Battery System design. Being responsible for the validation and verification of the requirements and generating compliance evidence for the certification by the aviation authority. Work within a scaled agile environment to support the Product Owner.
Your profile Engineering degree, ideally in aerospace or electrical engineering. 5+ years of professional experience as a systems engineer in Battery System development in the aviation or drone industry.
Strong knowledge of the standard specifications and performance standards for the Battery Systems in airborne applications such as ASTM F3005, RTCA DO-311. Good knowledge of the electrical, mechanical, cell technology and software aspects of the Battery design. Ideally, you are experienced in technical leadership of development projects.
Experienced with drone systems and UAVCAN/DroneCAN. Competent in systems engineering according to ARP4754A or equivalent. Proficiency in development assurance and qualification standards such as RTCA DO-160, DO-254, DO-178 is a plus.
