We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who wants to stop "ticket-pushing" and start taking true Architectural Ownership . You will be building cloud-native platforms where stability, zero-trust security, and high-availability are the baseline requirements, not afterthoughts.
Complex Backend: Leveraging Java (LTS) and Spring Boot/Quarkus to handle sophisticated business logic and high-security data flows. Platform Ownership: You aren't just writing code; you are managing the lifecycle using Kubernetes , Helm , and FluxCD/ArgoCD . Observability: Taking responsibility for system health via OpenTelemetry and Prometheus .
Who You Are The Veteran Developer: You have 5+ years of deep Java/Spring experience. You understand what happens "under the hood" of your frameworks. K8s Proficient: You have integrated services into live Kubernetes clusters and understand the "Ops" in DevOps.
Security-Minded: You understand the weight of working on KRITIS-relevant (Critical Infrastructure) projects. Consultative Mindset: You enjoy solving complex problems and can communicate technical decisions clearly. Language: Professional fluency in German (C1) is mandatory due to federal project requirements.
