Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrated automation solutions, including PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, and robotic cell integration, tailored to client specifications.
• Conduct remote system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure optimal operation of automated processes.
• Collaborate with clients and internal engineering teams to define project requirements, scope, and technical specifications through virtual communication channels.
• Oversee the virtual commissioning and testing of automation systems, ensuring all functionalities meet design parameters and quality standards.
• Provide expert remote technical support and guidance to clients and field service teams during and after system implementation.
• Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional design specifications, programming code, network diagrams, and user manuals.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in automation technology, recommending innovative solutions to enhance client operations and company offerings.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints, all coordinated remotely.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in automation system design, programming, and integration, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages for PLCs (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram) from major manufacturers (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, ABB).
• Extensive experience with HMI/SCADA software (e.g., FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Ignition) and robotic programming.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and system-level troubleshooting skills.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, adept at working effectively with distributed teams and clients remotely.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
