We are currently seeking a Senior Associate for our Valuation Advisory Services practice having a solid professional experience in finance and accounting, to work on complex assignments for our clients, including independent and strategic business valuations, financial damages analysis and lost profits determination, intangible assets valuations, purchase price allocations, impairment tests, structuring, and valuation of management incentive and equity based compensation programs, fairness opinions and financial modelling.

Navigating responsibilities: Performance of in-depth research of capital markets, industries and competitors as well as analyses of target companies, e.g. in terms of market strength, strategic fit, and business model / business plans. Conception and development of tailor‑made analysis tools to support existing valuation models.

Assistance in drafting of expert reports in litigation support projects. Contributing directly to the development of proposals, presentations, and publications. Working with internal management in building and maintaining client relationships. Helping recruit, supervise and mentor junior staff.

The Ideal Candidate: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or an MBA from an accredited college/university. 3-4 years of constructing valuation models and other financial models including: DCF/DDM, comparable company, stock option, and intangible asset valuation models.

Experience in participating in litigation support cases is a plus. CFA and/or CVA or similar professional designations in financial analysis, valuation, accounting financial modelling or financial forensics are a plus. Strong analytical/problem solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Fluency in English and German, other languages are a plus. Excellent knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of S&P Capital IQ and/or Mergermarket databases. About Kroll Join the global leader in risk and financial advisory solutions—Kroll.
