As a member of the Operations team, you support the Investment Manager and the C-Level Management Team of our portfolio companies in the Automotive Sector in the performance improvement with focus on Sales and cost‑efficiency within the plants.
Responsibilities In doing so you are a member of the shareholder team, which develops – together with the management and employees of the portfolio company – a comprehensive performance improvement program and redesigns the corporate strategy During up to 18 months on site of a portfolio company, you engage in/lead the development of various improvement measures with focus on Sales and manufacturing improvements Participate in shareholder SteeCos and conduct plant visits Analysis of company data and MIS information Your profile Graduate in engineering, business studies or natural sciences. 3-5 years’ work experience with strong automotive link e.g. working at OEM in Purchasing de-partment, Internal consultancy of OEM, or Sales department of Tier 1/2 Expertise in lean manufacturing is essential, paired with a hands‑on mentality as well as a high degree of responsibility.
