Responsibilities Support federal general ledger accounting activities through accounting entries and reconciliations.

Maintain supporting schedules ensuring accuracy of financial data. Assist with monthly accounting operations and Treasury reporting. Prepare recurring journal vouchers and supporting documentation. Perform reconciliations between systems. Research General Ledger variances and accounting discrepancies.
Support standard operating procedure (SOP) updates and documentation.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in federal accounting, general ledger (GL) accounting, financial reporting, or audit support. 1+ year of experience applying the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL), budgetary and proprietary accounting, reconciliations, journal vouchers, and Treasury reporting. 1+ year of experience preparing or reviewing federal accounting entries and supporting schedules.
