Your Role and Responsibilities Taking over a role of senior responsibilities in the research activities of LRZ’s BDAI team, addressing the enhancement of current and development of future LRZ AI service offers.
Here you will be initiating and contributing to research projects, their preparation, applications for funding and execution, including collaborations with national and European partners and project consortia Fostering contact with academic user communities by relying on your friendly personality, you will be providing consultancy to and collaborating with scientific users and research groups working on the forefront of AI Cooperating in a highly motivated, international team, including mentorship for junior team members, within a friendly and open work environment, with plenty of opportunities to develop your own ideas and interacting with students in training and teaching activities Shaping and actively driving ideas for scientific and infrastructure research projects with access to latest AI and high-performance computing hardware (GPUs, CPUs, AI accelerators, etc.) Advising researchers and academic users of an ever-growing AI service infrastructure in order to foster and to optimize their system usage (e.g. efficiency, multi-GPU and multi-node scalability).
