This is a Senior Accountant position within a Berlin-based tech company.

Your Responsibilities Take full ownership of accounting across six legal entities, including joint ventures Manage monthly and annual financial closings under HGB and IFRS Oversee VAT reporting and statutory compliance requirements Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across all entities Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes Drive process improvements and automation within DATEV and related finance systems Support the development of scalable finance structures as the company grows Act as the accounting lead within a small finance team (AP/AR and working student support) Collaborate closely with the CFO on finance transformation in Following the appointment of a new CFO, the finance function is undergoing a phase of professionalisation and scaling.
This role sits at the centre of that transformation and offers a high level of ownership, visibility, and impact. The successful candidate will take responsibility for establishing robust accounting processes across multiple legal entities and supporting the build-out of a scalable finance function in a growing environment.
This is a hands‑on role suited to an experienced accountant who enjoys combining technical accounting expertise with process improvement and system optimisation.
