About the Opportunity Oversee AP, AR, payroll, inventory and general ledger activities across multiple legal entities. Perform and review various day‑to‑day accounting transactions and journal entries, in a timely and accurate manner. Review monthly bank reconciliations for Canadian and US accounts.
Participate in various monthly accounting cycle activities and reporting of key metrics. Variance and margin analysis, ensuring proper revenue and expense recognition. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Review / submit provincial and federal government tax reporting as required.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements Participate in the preparation of forecasts and budgets. Coordinate the compilation of year‑end audit reports and requests.
