Job Title: RF/MW Principal Field Applications EngineerLocation: Munich, GermanyReports to: Applications Engineering (AE) Director, AWR EMEAJob Overview:As a Field Applications Engineer for Cadence AWR, you’ll work with customers and our sales team to understand their RF and microwave (RF/MW) design challenges, run product demonstrations and develop solutions. You’ll also provide the support and training that helps customers succeed with our software. We’d love to hear from engineers who have designed RF/MW circuits and communication systems using Cadence AWR or other electronic design automation (EDA) tools.

Job Responsibilities:Deliver technical guidance and training on Cadence AWR Design Environment software to customers and prospectsContribute to technical evaluations and benchmarksConsult with customers to understand their requirements, and share that feedback with the relevant internal teamsPlan and manage customer and prospect activities in line with the agreed market development strategy, and give sales managers regular account status updatesPartner with research and development (R&D) to identify and prioritize product improvementsMonitor and report on market and competitor activity, including visit reports and other relevant informationDeliver technical presentations at Cadence and industry events (occasional)Job Qualifications:5+ years of experience in RF/MW circuit design, such as amplifiers, mixers and filtersExperience designing RF/MW circuits and communication systems using
