Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one virtual makeup consultations, assessing client's skin type, features, and style preferences.
• Provide expert advice on product selection, application techniques for various looks (e.g., everyday, evening, special occasions), and color matching.
• Develop and deliver engaging online masterclasses and tutorials on makeup application, skincare prep, and product usage.
• Create personalized makeup looks and recommendations based on client needs and current beauty trends.
• Educate clients on proper makeup hygiene, tool maintenance, and skincare routines that complement makeup application.
• Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to provide insights on consumer needs and emerging trends.
• Maintain detailed client profiles, documenting consultations, recommendations, and follow-up notes.
• Stay current with global makeup trends, techniques, and new product launches across the industry.
• Foster a positive and empowering client experience, building strong relationships and encouraging brand loyalty.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio showcasing extensive experience as a professional Makeup Artist, with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
• Proven ability to conduct successful virtual consultations and create engaging digital content.
• Expertise across a wide range of makeup styles, techniques, and color theory.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients effectively online.
• Proficiency in using video conferencing platforms and digital tools for client interaction.
• A deep understanding of skincare principles as they relate to makeup application.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and maintain high standards of professionalism in a remote environment.
• Creative vision and a passion for beauty and empowering individuals through makeup.
• Must be based in South Africa and comfortable with a fully remote work arrangement.
