About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, model, and evaluate optimal logistics network configurations, including facility placement, capacity planning, and transportation flows.

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of transportation costs, warehousing strategies, and inventory positioning.
• Utilize advanced network modeling software and analytical tools to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, IT, finance, sales) to ensure network designs meet business requirements.
• Prepare detailed business cases and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Oversee the implementation of network changes, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum benefit.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess network performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure network designs comply with sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in logistics network design.

Requirements

• A Master's degree or PhD in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in logistics network design and optimization, with a proven track record of strategic impact.
• Expertise in using leading network design and optimization software (e.g., Llamasoft, AnyLogic, Gurobi, or similar).
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proven experience in developing and presenting strategic recommendations to executive-level stakeholders.
• Excellent project management skills and experience managing large-scale, international projects.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to excel and lead effectively in a fully remote work environment.
• Deep understanding of global Logistics & Warehousing operations and trends.
• Proficiency in data visualization and advanced statistical analysis.
