Remote Quality Assurance Lead

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Remote Quality Assurance Lead to champion quality standards across their manufacturing operations. This role requires exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively manage remote teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and policies.
• Lead and manage a team of Quality Assurance professionals remotely.
• Oversee the establishment and maintenance of quality standards and procedures.
• Conduct remote audits and assessments of manufacturing processes and systems.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and certifications.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality management.
• Train and mentor team members on quality best practices and methodologies.
• Report on quality performance and key metrics to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Extensive experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated leadership experience.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience with quality auditing and compliance.
• Excellent remote leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a virtual environment.
• Proficiency with quality management software and tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) are highly preferred.
