Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of secure and scalable smart contracts.
• Define smart contract architecture and best practices for the development team.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level smart contract developers.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure quality, security, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into robust smart contract logic.
• Stay at the forefront of blockchain technology advancements, security vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for smart contracts and associated systems.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to strategic decision-making regarding blockchain product development.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks and performance issues.
• Champion best practices in smart contract development, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in smart contract development, with a proven track record of shipping production-ready dApps.
• Deep expertise in Solidity and experience with various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon, BSC).
• Strong understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi) principles and common DeFi protocols.
• Experience with development environments and tools such as Hardhat, Truffle, Ganache, and Web3.js/Ethers.js.
• Proficiency in security auditing of smart contracts and knowledge of common vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques.
• Experience with formal verification methods is a significant plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage complex projects, and thrive in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with upgradeable smart contracts and proxy patterns.
