Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for the planning, design, and execution of large-scale civil engineering projects nationwide.
• Manage and mentor remote project engineering teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Oversee the development of project scope, technical specifications, budgets, and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, codes, regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Review and approve key engineering deliverables, including designs, calculations, and construction methods.
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies for complex projects.
• Liaise with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders virtually to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement in design processes, project management methodologies, and quality assurance protocols.
• Act as a primary technical point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives.

Requirements

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a significant portion dedicated to project leadership and delivery.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex infrastructure projects of substantial scale and value.
• Demonstrated experience and success in leading and managing remote engineering teams.
• Expertise in multiple civil engineering disciplines (e.g., structural, transportation, water resources, geotechnical).
• Exceptional project management skills, with proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Outstanding leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, particularly in a virtual context.
• Ability to make sound technical and strategic decisions under pressure.
