Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the FMCG sector on a global scale.
• Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive market penetration and revenue growth.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth areas.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential partners, distributors, retailers, and key industry stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations for strategic alliances, joint ventures, and distribution agreements.
• Develop compelling business proposals and presentations to secure new partnerships and ventures.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product development, legal) to ensure successful onboarding and integration of new business initiatives.
• Monitor the performance of new business ventures and provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
• Represent the company at virtual and, when necessary, in-person industry events and conferences.
• Stay informed about global FMCG market dynamics, regulatory changes, and competitive strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in business development, strategy, or corporate venturing, with a significant focus on the FMCG industry.
• Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and closing significant business deals and partnerships.
• Demonstrated understanding of global FMCG markets, consumer behavior, and distribution models.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote work environment.
• Experience with financial modeling and business case development.
• Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
• Ability to travel internationally as required for business development activities.
