•

• Take the commercial lead on large, complex client opportunities, ensuring profits are maximized, risks are understood and mitigated, and client needs are met and exceeded.

• Bring commercial innovation, thought leadership and modelling skills to differentiate NTT DATA from competitors; assess utilization of Joint Venture, Risk/Reward, Gain Sharing, flexible consumption/utility‑based pricing and other models to meet client needs.

• Translate clients’ financial requirements into achievable and commercially viable offerings for NTT DATA.

• Create and manage the contract P&L, cash‑flow forecast, asset financing requests, risk register and guide the pricing team on client pricing templates.

• Present the commercial proposition compellingly in client response documents and during client presentations.

• Work with legal to identify, mitigate and secure adequate contingency for commercial and legal terms.

• Analyze existing and newly developed pricing methodologies to drive continuous improvement and competitiveness while remaining profitable.

Governance

•

• Monitor and adhere to relevant governance policies.

• Lead commercial reviews with internal stakeholders, including Board, sub‑region and country management teams.

• Ensure relevant commercial authorisations are obtained and documented for audit and governance purposes.

Other Responsibilities

•

• Act as a trusted advisor on client opportunities in transactional models, cross‑border taxation, logistics and forex.

• Serve as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for commercial solutions on responsibilities; ensure client expectations are met.

• Attend client meetings, on‑site and remote, as required.

• Provide advice and support on ad‑hoc commercial matters across all business areas.

• Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to secure favourable commercial terms with clients and vendors.

• Participate in peer‑to‑peer review and brainstorming to consider alternative views and possibilities for each opportunity.

Interfaces With

•

• All business areas including commercial, controlling, finance, operations, sales, solutions, service delivery, country, sub‑regional and Board stakeholders at all levels, including Exco and management teams.

Requirements: Education, Training and Experience

•

• Minimum of 10 years’ commercial management/architecture experience in a multi‑national IT organisation.

• Extensive experience in complex commercial modelling and financial understanding.

• Executive‑level client‑facing experience.

• Experience building and managing complex Managed Services commercial models and P&L’s.

• Finance‑based university degree (or higher).

• Excellent knowledge of German and English.

• Advanced Excel skills; intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
