Key Responsibilities Successful candidates will be responsible for: Overseeing and supporting manufacturing, production, and supply chain operations Managing production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and materials flow Optimising workflows, processes, and systems to improve efficiency, cost control, and delivery performance Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, quality, procurement, logistics, and maintenance teams Implementing and sustaining Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives Ensuring compliance with German labour regulations, EU directives, occupational safety requirements, and ISO standards Monitoring KPIs related to production output, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, quality, and cost performance Supporting supplier performance management and supply chain risk mitigation Leading, mentoring, and supporting supervisors, planners, engineers, and operational teams Identifying operational risks and implementing corrective and preventative actions Contributing to strategic planning, capacity planning, and long-term operational improvements Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline 5–10+ years of experience within manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or industrial operations Experience in one or more of the following areas: Manufacturing or Production Management Supply Chain Management or Planning Procurement or Strategic Sourcing Logistics, Warehousing, or Distribution Operations Manufacturing, Industrial, or Process Engineering Quality Engineering or Quality Management Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations within Germany or the EU Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies Experience using ERP, MRP, WMS, or MES systems (e.g.
