This position is based in Centurion, Gauteng conceptually, but is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale digital transformation projects.
• Define project roadmaps, strategies, and success metrics in alignment with client objectives.
• Manage remote project teams, fostering collaboration, communication, and accountability across distributed members.
• Utilize best practices in Agile and other project management methodologies to optimize project delivery.
• Oversee risk management, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings virtually, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships for digital initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in project processes and team performance within a remote setting.
• Ensure successful adoption of new digital tools and processes by end-users.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and team members remotely.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on digital transformation and large-scale IT projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex digital projects, preferably in a consultancy environment.
• Extensive experience managing fully remote teams and distributed workforces.
• Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and other relevant project management frameworks.
• Strong understanding of digital technologies, cloud computing, data analytics, and AI.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent virtual communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Trello, Asana).
• Experience working with clients across various industries is highly desirable for this Centurion-aligned remote role.
