Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. (Master’s degree preferred.)
- 8+ years of experience in backend development with demonstrated healthcare domain knowledge.
- 5+ years of experience with modular development on AWS.
- Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks), Node.JS/Express.JS
- Experience in integrating backend services with mobile app backends (Flutter, React Native).
- Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and interoperability frameworks.
- Knowledge of security best practices for handling protected health information (PHI) and other sensitive data.
- Experience with containerization technologies and microservices architecture.
- Experience working with event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Experience with healthcare software development or health information systems.
- Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare workflows.
- Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics in healthcare contexts.
- Work effectively in a matrixed organization, influencing stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, collaboration, and influence management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to articulate clinical concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to complex and dynamic situations.
