BluMetric is looking for a dynamic full-time intermediate‑Senior Geochemist to support and help lead a wide variety of mining and environmental projects.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in mine waste geochemistry, water quality assessment, acid rock drainage and metal leaching assessments, and geochemical modelling, along with the confidence to provide technical direction, mentor staff, and work directly with clients and regulators.
Job Responsibilities Lead and review technical work for complex, multi‑disciplinary mining projects, including geochemical characterization, water quality assessment, source term development, water and load balance inputs, and predictive water quality modelling.
Plan, design, and oversee geochemical sampling programs involving rock, soil, tailings, waste rock, ore, groundwater, surface water, and other environmental media.
Interpret geochemical, mineralogical, and water quality datasets to support acid rock drainage and metal leaching predictions, mine waste characterization, contaminant transport assessments, closure planning, and rehabilitati
