About us For an international industrial client, we are looking for an experienced Senior MEP (TGA) Project Engineer to represent the client throughout the planning and execution of a major manufacturing transformation project in Querétaro, Mexico.

About the Project My client is transforming an existing logistics facility into a modern electronics manufacturing plant.

Your Responsibilities As the client's technical representative, you will: Act as the technical interface between the client, planners and engineering consultants Advise internal stakeholders on technical solutions and project decisions Capture operational and user requirements from two existing manufacturing facilities and translate them into the new site Take technical ownership of all MEP (TGA) related topics while maintaining close coordination with Building Construction (KG 300) Define technical planning objectives together with the internal Project Manager Review concept designs, preliminary designs and detailed engineering documentation Evaluate planning deliverables regarding technical quality, functionality and completeness Review engineering documentation prepared by external design teams and provide recommendations for approval before progressing to the next project phase Prepare technical reports and decision papers for the Project Manager Participate in regular planning workshops with consultants and stakeholders Support value engineering and identify optimisation opportunities throughout the design phase Project Phases Phase 1 – Planning Hybrid working model Regular workshops in Querétaro Review engineering documentation Define technical requirements Challenge engineering concepts Support design milestones from Concept Design through Detailed Design Phase 2 – Construction & Execution Full-time on-site presence in Querétaro Technical support during execution Ensure planning intent is implemented correctly Support contractors and technical coordination Resolve engineering issues during construction Prepare the project for successful commissioning Your Profile Must Have ✔ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent ✔ Extensive experience in MEP / TGA Engineering ✔ Strong understanding of industrial construction projects ✔ Experience representing the client or acting as an Owner's Engineer ✔ Experience reviewing engineering documentation and coordinating design consultants ✔ Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders ✔ Fluent Spanish ✔ Professional English Why Join This Project?

Unlike a traditional engineering role, you will act as the Owner's Representative, ensuring that technical decisions made during planning translate into a successful construction and commissioning phase.

Project Details: Location: Querétaro, Mexico Start: 01 September 2026 Duration: 9 months Industry: Electronics Manufacturing Languages: Spanish & English (mandatory) Travel: Hybrid during the planning phase, followed by full-time on-site presence during execution.

The assignment begins during the planning phase , where two existing production facilities must be analysed and their operational requirements transferred into the new production environment. The primary technical focus is MEP / TGA, while maintaining a strong understanding of the interfaces with Building Construction (KG 300).

Rather than joining once the design has been completed, you will help shape the engineering strategy, guide technical decisions , review planning quality and ensure the project is delivered according to the client's operational requirements.
