We are currently mandated by our client, Eldora SA, a leader in community restaurants in French-speaking Switzerland, for the recruitment of: Sous Chef (m/f) - Senior Residence Job Description We are looking for a Second Chef wishing to commit long-term within an establishment hosting around sixty residents in a green and friendly setting.
A true right-hand to the Head Chef, you actively participate in the daily organisation of the kitchen and guarantee the quality of culinary services. You supervise production, ensure the smooth running of services and take part in menu development by proposing refined, balanced cuisine adapted to the guests’ expectations.
You also manage stock, place orders, receive goods and follow up on certain administrative tasks. In the absence of the Head Chef, you take over to ensure continuity of activity and smooth running of the service.
Profile Sought You hold a federal certificate of competence (CFC) as a cook or an equivalent qualification and have significant experience in a kitchen, ideally in a second-in-command position.
