Overview
Our client, a PE-backed software business, is shaping the transformation of the German healthcare sector by combining technology, data, and operational expertise. As they continue to scale, they are seeking a Chief of Staff to report to the Chief Product Technology Officer to deliver a variety of strategic and operational initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Operations: Manage meetings, agendas, decision papers, and follow-ups.
- Prioritization and Governance: Run the prioritization process across all tech projects and subsidiaries, ensuring the right topics are advanced with the right level of priority.
- OKRs and Reporting: Own the OKR framework in the tech area, consolidate status updates, and prepare board and private equity materials.
- Budget Control: Track headcount and project budgets, identify deviations early, and prepare decision-making documents.
- Strategic Special Projects: Take on ad-hoc projects at the direction of the CPTO, e.g., market research, organizational analyses, vendor evaluations.
- Partner Engagement: Manage external partners in close alignment with the CPTO and ensure their delivery quality.
Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role – ideally as a Strategy Manager, Chief of Staff, project lead, or in a top-tier consultancy.
- Tech affinity: You understand how software development and product development work.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be native/business fluent in German and English.
- Bonus: Experience in PE-backed environments or in software.
