About the Role:

We are seeking a Business Process Consultant Lead to drive global engineering process transformation within a multi-year PLM modernization program. This role will lead process harmonization, governance design, migration readiness, and enterprise adoption aligned to the implementation and optimization of PTC Windchill across multiple business units and geographies. The position requires a strong blend of PLM functional expertise, automotive domain knowledge, executive stakeholder management, and transformation leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Harmonization & Design

• Lead global AS-IS and TO-BE workshops across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams

• Harmonize New Product Introduction (NPI), Engineering Change Management, BOM governance, and release workflows

• Drive fit-to-standard adoption aligned with Windchill out-of-the-box capabilities

• Identify and eliminate redundant customizations

• Developing global process templates and governance guardrails

2. PLM Migration & Business Readiness

• Define process-driven business rules for data migration

• Support Axalant to Windchill transition readiness

• Validate business processes during migration rehearsals and cutovers

• Align PLM processes with SAP and downstream enterprise integrations

3. Governance & Demand Management

• Establish structured demand intake and prioritization frameworks

• Define approval guardrails for enhancements and deviations

• Develop measurable process compliance KPIs

• Support Program Board with impact assessments and process advisory

4. Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement

• Facilitate cross-regional workshops and alignment sessions

• Present transformation updates to senior leadership

• Resolve cross-functional conflicts through structured decision frameworks

• Act as trusted advisor to Engineering and IT leadership

5. Change Management & Adoption

• Identify organizational impact areas

• Support training strategy and rollout readiness

• Develop process documentation, SOPs, and playbooks

• Monitor post-go-live adoption metrics and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in PLM consulting, engineering systems transformation, or process architecture

• Strong hands‑on experience with Windchill workflows, lifecycle states and configuration

• Proven expertise in Engineering Change Management and BOM governance

• Automotive or discrete manufacturing industry background

• Experience in large-scale global PLM deployments (5,000+ users preferred)

• Exposure to PLM migration programs (Axalant, SAP PLM, or similar legacy systems)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience reducing PLM customization footprint

• SAP PLM or ERP integration knowledge

• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
