About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a materials scientist to join the Nature Reviews Materials editorial team as an Associate or Senior Editor working on all aspects of the journal. Liaise extensively with the scientific community through laboratory visits and international conferences, both virtually and in person.
Associate or Senior Editor, Nature Reviews Materials
Location: Berlin, Heidelberg, Madrid, Milan, or Pune – hybrid working model.
We are particularly interested in applicants with a background in materials chemistry, especially in areas related to batteries, photovoltaics, or catalysis, but we welcome applications from candidates in any area of materials science.
The position is offered on a full‑time basis and will be located in our Berlin, Heidelberg, Madrid, Milan, or Pune office. Role Responsibilities Commission narrative reviews and opinion pieces.
Work closely with authors throughout the writing and revision process by providing feedback on synopses, developmentally editing first drafts, line‑by‑line editing of final manuscripts prior to acceptance, and developing ideas for figures and other display items. Organize and manage peer review.
